ViewPoint Systems Warranty

System Warranty Coverage:

ViewPoint Systems Corporation warrants that the equipment sold hereunder will conform to written specifications, drawings, and other descriptions and modifications thereto by ViewPoint, for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of shipment. ViewPoint warrants the goods sold hereunder against defective workmanship or materials. ViewPoint will as its sole and exclusive liability hereunder repair or replace such goods if they are returned within their respective warranty period.

These warranties are made upon the express condition that:

  1. ViewPoint is given prompt written notice upon delivery by buyer of such nonconformity, with a detailed explanation of the alleged deficiencies;
  2. Such goods are returned to ViewPoint at the expense of the buyer;
  3. Examination of such goods by ViewPoint discloses that the nonconformity actually exists and was not caused by accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, improper repair or improper testing;
  4. The goods have not been altered, modified, or changed in any manner by anyone other than ViewPoint;
  5. Repairs to the goods have not been made by anyone other than ViewPoint or at a ViewPoint authorized service facility

ViewPoint will have a reasonable time to repair or replace such goods. ViewPoint will not, in any event, be liable for incidental or consequential damages. These warranties may be modified in the case of particular goods by warranty certificates enclosed with the goods at the time of packaging.

These warranties exclude all other express or implied warranties, oral or written, including without limitation warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No terms, conditions, understandings or agreements purporting to modify the terms of these warranties shall have any legal effect unless made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of ViewPoint Systems Corporation.

Procedure to request Warranty Repair:

Any system requiring Warranty repair must follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Technical Support toll free at 1-888-632-1322 for troubleshooting via phone consultation;
  2. Examination of such goods by ViewPoint discloses that the nonconformity actually exists and was not caused by accident, misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation, improper repair or improper testing;
  3. If the unit requires Warranty repair, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) form must be completed. See Form Below
  4. Send the unit, with shipping charges PREPAID to:

ViewPoint will evaluate, repair or replace any warranty defects, and ship back to the customer prepaid. If an out-of-warranty condition exists, ViewPoint will notify the customer of the repair or replacement cost before proceeding. ViewPoint will ship systems via standard carrier for replacement. Any request for shipments overnight will be at customers expense. ViewPoint will not be liable for any delay or damage caused by the malfunctioning system.
