Overview
The VPT-8-MIL was designed to meet the need for a rugged monitor that is small in size yet big in brightness and resolution. The high bright LCD backlight system provides 800 Nits of illumination. Camera or computer video images are crisp and clear on the 800 x 600 pixel resolution screen. The rugged video controller is MIL-SPEC rated for high and low operating temperatures and heavy vibration and its reliability has been validated through extensive testing and field usage. Special attention has been paid to ensure that the monitor has a low thermal signature and power consumption is less than 25 Watts. The rugged display is capable of processing a variety of different analog and digital video signals including composite (NTSC/PAL/SECAM), VGA and DVI. The VPT-8-MIL is usually specified by users who have a need for a monitor that can process digital video in a small, lightweight package.
