Bob Bidwell brings over 40 years of Aerospace Quality Engineering and Quality Management experience to Viewpoint Systems. His career began after obtaining a BS in Mechanical Engineering from THE Ohio State University, which first led to a position as an Imagineer for the Disney Company.

Bob then went on to work in Quality at all Management levels, from his own EMS start-up; to several of the world’s largest International Aerospace companies. He came to Viewpoint after serving 12 years as the Sr. Quality Manager at BAE Systems. That was preceded by 10 years at Leonardo as the Sr. QM, and 5 years at Crane Aerospace as Director of Quality. Prior to that Bob spent 8 years as an Electronics Manufacturing business owner, as well as its’ QM. The business evolved from his previous time as a Sr. Staff QE at ITT Aerospace for 7 years.

Bob has maintained Certified Lead Auditor credentials to both ISO 9001 and AS9100 for over 25 years.
