When a display leaves our facility we never want to see it again. We follow a set of rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all of our products are free of defects and comply with the original intent of the design.
Each of our rugged displays is built by trained operators using standardized assembly instructions.
Inspections are conducted throughout the assembly process to ensure the displays are assembled correctly. Following assembly, each display is powered on and functionally tested for an extended period of time. We subject our rugged displays to a barrage of environmental tests (vibration, thermal cycle, etc.), ensuring there are no hidden defects prior to shipment. Test failures and field failures are recorded and troubleshooting is conducted to determine the root cause of the defects. Results are analyzed and fed back to our engineering team and/or supply base in an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of our products.
Our products are designed and tested to MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461E and MIL-STD-704F.
ViewPoint’s Quality Management System is certified to meet the various quality requirements detailed in ISO 9001:2015.
Our quality program aims for complete traceability and control of all manufacturing processes and configuration management throughout all phases of production. A variety of inspection and analysis tasks are performed throughout the design and production processes.
ViewPoint utilizes its own test equipment for burn-in on production hardware.
A Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is performed on every display prior to shipment. This FAT includes various functional and environmental stress screening (ESS) tests as applicable. Military specification environmental testing is subcontracted to an accredited ISO/IEC 17025 facility.
